CITROEN announced a problem with the C3 and DS3 affecting a total of 7 vehicles.
The front suspension lower swivel joint may not be tightened correctly. Should the bolt slacken the joint may separate which could adversely affect the direction control of the vehicle. Vehicles built from 06/22/2011 to 09/13/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary correct the tightening torque of the lower swivel joint clamp bolt.
