FIAT announced a problem with the MULTIPLA - PETROL affecting a total of 14 vehicles.
Due to the incorrect profiling of a rigid fuel pipe at the quick fit connection with the flexible fuel pipe for the injection manifold. The possibility exists that a fuel leak may develop at the connector, and result in a fire in the engine compartment. Vehicles built from 6/1/2006 to 10/31/2006 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have a locking insert fitted within the quick fit connector, in order to prevent the connector from becoming loose.
