MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Unimog affecting a total of 7 vehicles.
On vehicles equipped with four wheel steering, it is possible that if the vehicle is used where extreme axle articulation is experience, the service brake lines between the ABS solenoid valves and brake chambers can suffer tensile stress and subsequently fail. Vehicles built from 1/1/2001 to 3/11/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and replace the affected brake lines.
