MAZDA Mazda 3 Recall

Wiper motor may fail

MAZDA Mazda 3 recall Jul 2011MAZDA announced a problem with the Mazda 3 affecting a total of 11,354 vehicles.

Front windscreen motor may suddenly stop operating. The cause of the problem is due to a poor electrical earth connection. Vehicles built from 7/1/2008 to 22/12/2008 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. The remedy is a fitment of an additional earth wire between the wiper motor and body of the vehicle.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

JMZBK14**91754182 to JMZBK14**91828411
JMZBK1***01714164 to JMZBK1***01828410
JMZBK1***81714210 to JMZBK***181754177
