Possible casting defect in front steering knuckles

FORD Ranger recall Apr 2003

FORD announced a problem with the Ranger affecting a total of 386 vehicles.

Steering knuckle casting may crack

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and using dye penetrant inspection techniques, check the steering knuckles for the presence of a crack. Replace with new any part failing the above test.
