CITROEN Picasso Recall

Engine may fail

CITROEN Picasso recall Jun 2006CITROEN announced a problem with the Picasso affecting a total of 127 vehicles.

It has been identified that on a small number of vehicles the engine may have been fitted with a cylinder head where the lubrication circuit is not in conformity. This could result in failure of the engine. Vehicles built from 02/27/2004 to 05/03/2004 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the marking on the camshaft carrier checked and if found to be within the effected range the engine will be replaced.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

VF7******39696951 to VF7******39735039
