PEUGEOT BOXER Recall

Handbrake mechanism may not be to specification

PEUGEOT BOXER recall Feb 2005PEUGEOT announced a problem with the BOXER affecting a total of 10 vehicles.

There is a possibility that the handbrake mechanism is not to the correct specification and as a result there is a possibility that under certain conditions the vehicle could roll away.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and inspect and test the handbrake mechanism. If necessary replace the brake pads and re-adjust the handbrake cable as specified.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest PEUGEOT dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
