RENAULT announced a problem with the Master III affecting a total of 218 vehicles.
It is possible that the rear wheel bearing has been damaged whilst it was assembled onto the stub axle. This should be identified by excessive noise, however, in the worst case, if not detected, it could result in bearing failure and the detachment of the wheel and hub. Vehicles built from 1/4/2010 to 16/4/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all the affected vehicles and replace the wheel bearings with new items, which will have protective sleeves to aid correct installation.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest RENAULT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
