Halfshaft and drive may disengage without warning.
CHRYSLER announced a problem with the 300C affecting a total of 632 vehicles.
The rear axle hub may loosen and allow the half shaft to disengage from the wheel hub. Vehicles built from 1/19/2008 to 3/12/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and inspect hub nuts for crimping around the circumference. If crimping is missing, replace nuts.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CHRYSLER dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
