DENNIS EAGLE ELITE Recall |
Front hub casting may fail in area of wheel bolts. |
DENNIS EAGLE announced a problem with the ELITE affecting a total of 370 vehicles.
The front hub outer ring portion that houses the wheel bolts may break away from the inner nave portion fastened to the stub axle. In the worst case this would lead to detachment of the wheel. Vehicles built from 05/01/2003 to 11/30/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Inspect vehicles in the affected range and replace any defective hubs found. |
