CHRYSLER announced a problem with the Sebring and Dodge Avenger affecting a total of 1,902 vehicles.
It has been identified that, engine coolant might be drawn into the left side cooling fan motor connector. Should this occur, an electrical short circuit will arise, which may result in a fire within the engine compartment.
Recalled vehicles will have a left side radiator cooling fan motor wire overlay installed. Additionally, the left side cooling fan motor connector will be inspected for damage. Vehicles found with a damaged radiator cooling fan motor connector will have the fan motor replaced.
