PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 207 affecting a total of 664 vehicles.
The battery earth return cable maybe too short, which during vehicle operation may cause it to fail at its gearbox mounting point. This could result in the engine cutting out. Vehicles built from 01/20/2010 to 05/23/2011 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicle and replace the battery earth return cable.
