Brake light may not operate
KIA Sportage, Carens, Sorento and Sedona recall Nov 2009KIA announced a problem with the Sportage, Carens, Sorento and Sedona affecting a total of 1,816 vehicles.

It has been identified that due to a faulty switch, the brake lights may not operate when the brake pedal is depressed Vehicles built from 9/20/2006 to 10/25/2006 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the brake light switch replaced.
