RENAULT announced a problem with the ESPACE affecting a total of 467 vehicles.
The air bag control electrical wiring attached to the drivers swivelling seat may become damaged and cause unscheduled deployment of the drivers' air bag. Vehicles built from 01/01/1999 to 07/30/1999 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Examine wiring for damage and re-route and secure as necessary

find your nearest RENAULT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
