NISSAN announced a problem with the Cabstar affecting a total of 1,858 vehicles.
There is a possibility that the lower steering column connecting rod may become disconnected resulting in loss of steering control. Vehicles built from 8/25/2008 to 10/23/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to check and if necessary retorque steering rod bolts.

find your nearest NISSAN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
