Front lights / indicators and console lights may fail.
MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the CL & S-CLASS affecting a total of 204 vehicles.
The SAM unit may become unreliable due to moisture in a transistor due to incorrect storage. In extreme cases, various electrical functions may be affected, such as front lights, indicators, wipers, steering column adjustment and centre console lights Vehicles built from 1/1/2007 to 12/31/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and replace front SAM control unit
