MAN TGL Recall

Steering may fail

MAN announced a problem with the TGL affecting a total of 34 vehicles.

It has been identified that, some MAN TGL vehicles may have a problem with the steering shaft universal joint, which may have been inserted too far over the teeth of the steering transmission shaft. This could result in the teeth failing to be adequately engaged, with the consequence if ignored, that the steering could fail.

Recalled vehicles will have the connection between the steering shafts checked. The components will be replaced if they show signs of damage.

How to check your car's VIN number - vehicle identification number
