SAAB 900 Recall

Possible inadvertant deployment of front airbag(s).

SAAB announced a problem with the 900 affecting a total of 4,307 vehicles.

A capacitor in the front air bag control unit may short circuit This could lead to an inadvertent deployment of the air bag(s).

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Check the air bag control module and renew where found necessary.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest SAAB dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
