Possible loss of vehicle control

ALFA ROMEO 159, BRERA & SPIDER recall Jul 2007ALFA ROMEO announced a problem with the 159, BRERA & SPIDER affecting a total of 610 vehicles.

Oil may leak from the Power Take Off Unit which may cause the unit to seize and possible loss of vehicle control. Vehicles built from 11/1/2005 to 2/28/2007 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to apply sealant to the core plug and to fit a retaining clip.
