Accelerator pedal may work loose

CITROEN Xsara Picasso recall Jul 2008CITROEN announced a problem with the Xsara Picasso affecting a total of 30 vehicles.

The accelerator pedal plate may have been fitted with nuts that are not of the correct specification. In time the nuts may work loose making the pedal feel insecure. Vehicles built from 4/1/2008 to 4/1/2008 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the three accelerator pedal plate fixing nuts.
