CITROEN announced a problem with the Xsara Picasso affecting a total of 30 vehicles.
The accelerator pedal plate may have been fitted with nuts that are not of the correct specification. In time the nuts may work loose making the pedal feel insecure. Vehicles built from 4/1/2008 to 4/1/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the three accelerator pedal plate fixing nuts.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
