NISSAN announced a problem with the PATHFINDER AND NAVARA affecting a total of 7,812 vehicles.
A concern has been identified relating to the fitment of the steering shaft lower joint. Should the joint become detached, steering control will be lost. Vehicles built from 02/01/2005 to 01/31/2006 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject joint inspected, and the clamp bolt will be renewed if required.
