PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 607 affecting a total of 20 vehicles.
Incorrect manufacture of the rear bench seat bolsters could, in the case of an impact, hinder the deployment of the rear lateral airbags. Vehicles built from 08/31/2004 to 09/30/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit modified seat bolsters.
