BMW X5 3.0 si Recall |
Electric fuel pump may fail |
BMW announced a problem with the X5 3.0 si affecting a total of 4 vehicles.
Due to a manufacturing defect which causes premature wear of the fuel pump commutator, it is possible that the engine might cut out whilst driving. Vehicles built from 1/2/2008 to 31/8/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the fuel pump.
