FORD FOCUS AND C MAX Recall

Risk of fire

FORD FOCUS AND C MAX recall Jul 2011FORD announced a problem with the FOCUS AND C MAX affecting a total of 26,500 vehicles.

Due to high road salt usage in winter, the engine cooling fan module may suffer from corrosion and may overheat and ignite. Vehicles built from 19/2/2004 to 25/1/2007 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to modify wiring loom and to fit water shield to module.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

JMZBK1***01714164 to JMZBK1***01828410
JH2RC53C*AK000002 to JH2RC53C*AK000836
