CITROEN C5 (LX models) Recall

Possible cracking of road wheel

CITROEN C5 (LX models) recall Oct 2003CITROEN announced a problem with the C5 (LX models) affecting a total of 14,110 vehicles.

Under severe operating conditions and high mileage the pressed aluminium road wheels may crack around the wheel fixing holes. This could ultimately result in the detachment of a wheel. Vehicles built from 01/01/2001 to 05/31/2003 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Replace the wheels with a modified type.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

VF7D*****76003512 to VF7D*****76436342
