RENAULT announced a problem with the SCENIC II AND MEGANE II SALOON affecting a total of 5,354 vehicles.
There is a possibility that the seat back of the front seats may become difficult to adjust and or not lock into position. Vehicles built from 08/01/2003 to 10/31/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check that all welding to the seat back frame is present. If the welds are not all present then the seat back frame will be replaced.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
