CITROEN announced a problem with the C1 affecting a total of 33 vehicles.
It has been identified that during the fuel tank production process, the joint between the tank and the fuel supply pipe assembly may not have been produced to the correct standard. Should this indeed be the case leakage from the supply pipe area of the fuel tank might occur. Vehicles built from 5/16/2007 to 5/25/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the fuel tank inspected and replaced as necessary.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
