Seat belt mounting bracket bolt may fail

FORD Transit recall Feb 2008FORD announced a problem with the Transit affecting a total of 1,460 vehicles.

Concern that the front seat belt outer fixing may not have been installed to manufacturer's specification. Vehicles built from 11/7/2007 to 12/7/2007 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles for mounting to be inspected and retorque of the mounting bolt.
