SUZUKI announced a problem with the GRAND VITARA affecting a total of 2,931 vehicles.
There is a possibility that the outlet pipe of the intercooler may fail. In the worst case this could lead to the diesel particulate filter catching fire. Vehicles built from 06/28/2005 to 08/01/2006 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the intercooler pipe with a countermeasure part.
