Water may seep into the windshield wiper module |
CADILLAC announced a problem with the TRAILBLAZER, TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY, ENVOY XL AND BRAVADA affecting a total of 3,300 vehicles.
Water may seep into the windscreen wiper module which may render the wipers inoperative. Vehicles built from 09/01/2002 to 09/01/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall likely to be affected vehicles and check whether the wiper module is of an at risk type. Should an at risk module be identified, it will be removed from the vehicle and inspected for evidence of moisture ingress. Should any sign of moisture ingress be found, the module will be replaced. If no evidence of moister ingress is found, a breathable seal will be installed over the vent in the wiper motor cover. |
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CADILLAC dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
