Steering idler arm fixing bolts may loosen

MASERATI QUATTROPORTE recall Nov 2002MASERATI announced a problem with the QUATTROPORTE affecting a total of 69 vehicles.

The fixing bolts holding the steering idler arms to the chassis may not conform to specification. This may cause the bolts to loosen and result in a loss of steering control. Vehicles built from 01/01/1999 to 09/30/2000 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit quality assured replacement fixing bolts.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

ZAM337B0000350145 to ZAM337B0000350223
