IVECO announced a problem with the EUROCARGO affecting a total of 4 vehicles.
It is possible in an emergency braking situation with fully laden vehicle the rear axle brakes will not be applied as expected giving a rise of extended braking distance. Vehicles built from 10/01/2004 to 11/30/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the brake pressure regulator type fitted to the vehicle is the same as that list on the vehicle plate. If necessary fit a new plate. Check and if necessary adjust the load sensing valve linkage.
