SUZUKI Swift 1.2 & 1.3 D Recall

ESP may not function correctly

SUZUKI Swift 1.2 & 1.3 D recall Jan 2012SUZUKI announced a problem with the Swift 1.2 & 1.3 D affecting a total of 215 vehicles.

Possibility of improper ABS/ESP/TCS function during extreme driving conditions, due to production failure of certain ESP units. It does not effect normal braking. Vehicles built from 06/01/2011 to 07/31/2011 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Check ESP unit and if affected replace the ESP unit.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

TSMNZC72S00174524 to TSMNZC72S00176823
