Heater could catch fire
RENAULT TRUCKS UK LTD announced a problem with the RENAULT MAGNUM DXi 12 affecting a total of 55 vehicles.
There is a possiblility that a voltage surge may overload the independent cab heater electronic control which could damage the circuit card, which could lead to a fire. Vehicles built from 02/23/2005 to 09/28/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the affected vehicles and replace the fuse with one of a lower rating.
