THE brake pedal could become stiff thereby reducing braking assistance
CITROEN announced a problem with the C4 & C5 affecting a total of 2,557 vehicles.
The brake pedal might feel stiff and the braking distances extended as a result of a defect in the vacuum pump. Vehicles built from 3/31/2006 to 1/3/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the valve in the vacuum pump.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
