FIAT announced a problem with the DUCATO (WITH DROPSIDE) affecting a total of 29 vehicles.
It has been identified that the possibility exists that breakage of the dropside hinge fastening plate may occur on vehicles fitted with a factory installed dropside body. This can result in the detachment of the dropside panel. Vehicles built from 5/1/2006 to 7/31/2006 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Subject vehicles will be recalled at which time the hinge fastening plates will be changed.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
