FORD C-Max Recall

FORD C-Max recall Dec 2009FORD announced a problem with the C-Max affecting a total of 1,302 vehicles.

Due to high road salt usage in winter, the engine cooling fan module may suffer from corrosion, overheat and may ignite. Vehicles built from 6/1/2006 to 1/25/2007 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles to modify wiring loom and to fit water shield to module.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest FORD dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
