MAN announced a problem with the A66 affecting a total of 21 vehicles.
Steering damper and or its mountings may foul power steering pipes or other components depending on the axle variant and use. This could result in the loss of power steering assistance and or fouling of other components. Vehicles built from 09/03/2002 to 09/01/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Remove all steering damper components and mounting brackets as required.

find your nearest MAN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
