PORSCHE announced a problem with the Cayenne (V6) affecting a total of 982 vehicles.
It has been identified that the possibility exists, that a fuel line within the scuttle panel area may be in contact with the engine compartment cover. This can result in a knocking noise, and the fuel line becoming damaged with the attendant possibility that a fuel leak may occur.
Recalled vehicles will have the routing of the fuel line changed, and an additional spacer fitted. In the event of damage to the fuel line, it will be replaced.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest PORSCHE dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
