BENTLEY MOTOR CARS Continental GT, Continental GT Speed, Continental Flying Spur and Continental GTC Recall
Fuel may leak
BENTLEY MOTOR CARS announced a problem with the Continental GT, Continental GT Speed, Continental Flying Spur and Continental GTC affecting a total of 7,539 vehicles.
There is potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. In an extreme case, this may lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak, which has the potential for combustion. Vehicles built from 12/4/2003 to 3/18/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the affected vehicles, to have the fuel filter replaced by the later designed corrosion-resistant coated filter and move the retaining clip.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
