CAB connection rail may need to be retorqued or replaced.
SCANIA TRUCK announced a problem with the R & P SERIES affecting a total of 1,293 vehicles.
The mounting rail which connects the 24 volt positive supply between the chassis and the cab may be under torqued. Vehicles built from 01/01/2004 to 05/27/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and re-torque the mounting rail. If found to be necessary the connection panel will also be replaced.
