SCANIA BUS OMNICITY, OMNILINK, K & N SERIES. Recall |
Battery cables could short circuit and cause a fire. |
SCANIA BUS announced a problem with the OMNICITY, OMNILINK, K & N SERIES. affecting a total of 11 vehicles.
It has been identified that, the electrical cables adjacent to the battery have not been properly secured in their respective fuse holders. This may result in the cables working loose, with the attendant risk of a short circuit and a fire. Vehicles built from 12/1/2007 to 12/22/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the cables checked for security within their fuse holders, and be replaced if this is not the case.
