FERRARI F40 Recall

Possible breakage of a front suspension fork

FERRARI F40 recall Jun 2005FERRARI announced a problem with the F40 affecting a total of 178 vehicles.

The possibility exists that, the forks which fasten the lower suspension levers to the chassis, may have been fitted incorrectly, thus creating increased stress in the threaded pin anchorage area. This could result in the possible breakage of the fork. Vehicles built from 06/01/1987 to 06/01/1993 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the suspension forks replaced.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

ZFFGJ34B000077289 to ZFFGJ34B000094260
