CITROEN C5 AND C6 Recall

Engine may stall

CITROEN C5 AND C6 recall Jul 2011CITROEN announced a problem with the C5 AND C6 affecting a total of 153 vehicles.

It is possible for the engine to stall due to incorrect reading of oil levels during harsh and prolonged braking. Vehicles built from 22/4/2009 to 5/4/2011 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to download new software to the engine ECU.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

VF7******9l526351 to VF7******BL519350
