RENAULT TRAFIC II (PHASE II) Recall

Front passenger seat belt pretensioner may not trigger in an impact

RENAULT TRAFIC II (PHASE II) recall Jul 2007RENAULT announced a problem with the TRAFIC II (PHASE II) affecting a total of 6 vehicles.

It has been identified that, the front passenger seatbelt pretensioner has not been configured correctly. In the event of an impact, the pretensioner will not trigger. The front seat passenger will however, still be retained by the seatbelt, but without the pretensioner function.

Recalled vehicles will have the front passenger seatbelt configured.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest RENAULT dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
