PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 307CC affecting a total of 1,422 vehicles.
The original software may generate excessive oscillation of the motorised throttle valve, which in extremely rare cases, causes the failure of its throttle stop. This results in the engine operating in safety mode with a possible reduction in braking assistance.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the ECU and either perform a download or replace the ECU.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest PEUGEOT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
