PEUGEOT 407 Recall

Fuel may leak

PEUGEOT 407 recall Feb 2006PEUGEOT announced a problem with the 407 affecting a total of 319 vehicles.

Due to a potential fault in the engine management system an internal engine fuel leak via the injectors may occur following switching off. This would result in the engine failing to restart due to excess fuel being present in the inlet manifold or cylinders.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. To address the issue recalled vehicles will receive an engine management download.
