Rear seat belt webbing may be damaged in a frontal impact
NISSAN announced a problem with the Z50 Murano affecting a total of 1,434 vehicles.
There is a possibility that, during a frontal impact and under specific circumstances the rear seat belt webbing may be damaged. This could increase the risk of injury to an occupant during an impact. Vehicles built from 04/01/2002 to 07/31/2005 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have a protector fitted to the affected seat belt area.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
JN1***Z50U0000042 to JNI***Z50U0009397 JN1TANZ50U0000042 to JN1TANZ50U0009397
