RENAULT announced a problem with the ESPACE IV affecting a total of 359 vehicles.
It is possible that the handbrake may not be fully effective when the vehicle is parked. Vehicles built from 01/01/2003 to 03/04/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Reprogramme the parking brake computer software.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest RENAULT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
