FIAT Fiat 500, Fiat Grande and Evo Punto, Abarth 500 and Abarth Evo Punto Recall
THE wrong airbag may deploy in a collision
FIAT announced a problem with the Fiat 500, Fiat Grande and Evo Punto, Abarth 500 and Abarth Evo Punto affecting a total of 29,130 vehicles.
In the case of a side impact the wrong airbag could deploy as a result of a software non-compliance. Vehicles built from 1/5/2010 to 31/8/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to apply a software update.
